Art Deco Possible Pair of Loetz or Czech or Bohemian art glass red vases
Art Deco possible Pair of Loetz or Czech or Bohemian art glass red vases  - The colour of these vases is stunning. They seem to be internally flashed or finely cased. They are an absolutely fabulous colour. The red is so stunning and unusual, far more vibrant than that you normal associate with Bohemian glass. It is not dissimilar to the shade achieved by Kings Lynn glass but it is not the same method. Each is hand blown and have polished pontils on their base.

The lower two pictures illustrate an effect observed on one of the vases where the coat, only to the base, is slightly less dense, which produces a fantastic orange glow. This is difficult to capture photographically but it really glows.

There is some age to the base. It is probable these date from early 20th century but no later than the 1930's. These vases are very, very good. Stunners

Height 10 cm

Width 10 cm

The condition is very good with a few surface scratches. They contain small bubbles which do not break the surface but interupt the flashed coating so that one can look through the red to the clear. Packaged Weight 1500g
