Karl Goldberg Glass Hyacinth Vase Art Nouveau. This is Bohemian cased cut and enamelled cameo glass. It is pale blue tending to magenta at the top. The colour of this vase changes depending on whether it is in reflected or transmitted light (but it is not dichroic). It has been acid etched back to produce leaves and stems whilst leaving a step at the lip. Further tendrils are added by enamelling. Karl Goldberg opened his workshop in Haida in 1881. This is extremely rare and is a very beautiful vase. Just look at the tendrils.	Height 16.6 cm Width 16 cm
Condition is ok, there are some small chips to the body and the odd scratch. Because of the look of the vase these are not detrimental to the vase.	Packaged Weight 950g
