| German Children's tea set fairytales Grimms. Could this be based on Grimms fairytales? This set consists of 4 cups and saucers, a teapot, a jug and a sugar bowl. It is a really nice quality set, with bands of gold around the rims. The decoration is particularly fun in its design. It is particularly well drawn, and has frogs, a fairy in a leaf carriage, gnomes, grasshoppers, cats and ravens. The cups and saucers are 10.3 wide and 8 cm high, the plates are 13.5 cm wide, the jug is 7 cm wide and 6.5 cm high and the sugar bowl is 7.8 cm wide and 6.5 cm high. The size of the teapot is given on the right. There are no markings on the bases. |
