| Franz porcelain tuberose vase XP 1893 May Wei Xuet-Mei. This is an early piece of Franz porcelain, and although the company only started in 2002, it has taken the porcelain world by storm. It's headquarters is in San Francisco, with a design and research centre in Taiwan, whilst the porcelain itself is made in China. This explains the magnificent blend of East and West styles. The porcelain is very fine indeed, and the shading of colour on the vase is very subtle. It is beautifully marked on the base. It is a very lovely vase from Franz porcelain. |
