Boda Afors Bertil Vallien glass chalice or goblet with a Mexico or Mexican Native American influence design, number V170:100
| Boda Afors Bertil Vallien glass chalice or goblet with a Mexico or Mexican Native American influenced design, number V170:100. It probably dates from the 1960's or 1970's. This chalice is wonderful and tactile. [26] notes that Bertil Vallien worked in the USA and Mexico, and we think this piece has been influenced by the exotic designs of the Native Americans. It also has an unusual circular signature on the base. The sand blasting goes deep into the glass. Bertil Vallien is a really collectable designer. |
